I received a phone call from INC. magazine (a national magazine for Entreprenuer's and Small Business) back in January asking if I would be interested in being interviewed about using Evernote for my business. Apparently, INC. magazine came across my blog article I had written on using Evernote in my home staging business in Cincinnati. They had asked me in a subtle way if I was being paid to review Evernote- which I was not. I thought that was funny. Nope...I'm just an enthusiatic business owner thrilled to find something that makes my life easier.
When I found Evernote, I was so excited to share this tool with my Active Rain community. It really is a great tool for anyone needing to better organize all of their stuff online. Whether you are a Real Estate Agent, Home Stager, Mortgage Broker or Inspector, it's worth checking out. For blogging, it's an excellent way to keep all of your reseach and article ideas you come across in one place.
By the way...for home sellers or home buyers, it's a great way to keep all your stuff together and organized during the home buying or selling process. You know how much there is to keep track too!
So the next time you write an article in your Active Rain blog, you just never know where it may take you!

Teresa: Great article! I've been using Google Notebook, which was fantastic. Google has stopped supporting it :o( so I guess I'll check out Evernote, based upon your recommendation.

Congratulations Teresa! I remember your blog and it inspired me to start learning more about Evernote. I have started using it again and am still getting used to it but it's a great little app on my iPhone and syncs with Evernote on my MacBook Pro.
Evernote has done some recent upgrades to the iPhone and iPad that I really like too. They have an audio where you can record up to 90 minutes and send to your assigned notebook. My goal is to use this feature more. I am always running around with a milliion ideas and all these "To Do's" as the day goes on and things change as you get emails, calls, etc. This will be a great alternative to my post it notes! I bet the audio feature would be great for visiting vacants or consults.
Teresa- congrats on the feature and thank you for spreading the word about Evernote. I looked at a it quite a while ago but never really tried using it.

Thanks for your recommendation. Did you see Jobs present the new IPAD? I am going to wait a couple more months, see if the price comes down.....
Teri: I did see the new iPad. After sitting on my hands since the first one came out, I broke down and bought it last Oct. You'll love it. You can get started with Evernote, however, on your PC or Mac now if you'd like. Everything should sync over if you download to the iPad later....
